Artistic and functional movement has been at the heart of my journey since childhood—beginning in a small, crowded living room at age five, where I first discovered the joy of dance. What began as curiosity and play gradually became a lifelong devotion to understanding how the body moves, expresses, and connects. That early spark carried me across continents, through more than seventeen distinct forms of movement, and into collaborations with artists, teachers, and communities in over fifteen countries.
My training spans a wide range of practices—from Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop, and Freestyle to Classical and Folk Dance of Malaysia, Latin and social forms such as Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, and West Coast Swing, as well as Heels, Flags and Rod, Contact Improvisation, Animal Flow, and Macebell training. I continue to expand and integrate these influences into my work, alongside fitness disciplines including strength and conditioning, cardio, flexibility, and functional training. Each form has offered a new lens through which to understand movement—not just as performance, but as language, ritual, and research.
“look down at your body and whisper, there is no home like you. thank you.” — Rupi Kaur
With a degree in Dance and certifications as a Personal Trainer, I have devoted my career to exploring how artistry and athleticism coexist. My work has evolved through many roles: performer, choreographer, educator, and production manager—each phase shaping my understanding of creative and physical intelligence in distinct ways. Whether on stage, in the studio, or behind the scenes, I have sought to merge knowledge from dance, fitness, and wellness practices into a holistic and adaptive approach. I am endlessly curious, continually learning and refining, guided by the belief that growth is both a personal and shared process.
Music, too, has always been part of my language. Growing up surrounded by musicians and performing in choirs and ensembles, I learned early how rhythm and emotion can shape movement. Even now, my musical sensibility informs my dance and teaching—it allows me to feel the spaces between the beats, to translate sound into motion, and to teach movement as something deeply lived, not just executed.
“we might not hear it at times but the music is always on. it just needs to be turned louder. for as long as there is breath in our lungs—we must keep dancing.” — Rupi Kaur
Today, I continue to build bridges between functional movement and expressive art—creating practices for dancers to move stronger and for non-dancers to move more freely. Through private coaching, creative collaborations, and personal exploration, I aim to help others find confidence and connection within their bodies. My philosophy is simple yet layered: curiosity fuels growth, awareness deepens artistry, and consistency nurtures transformation.
Movement, to me, is both a teacher and a home. Whether you’re an artist, athlete, parent, or beginner, I will meet you where you are and move with you forward—because movement is not only what we do, but who we become through it.
